You have a say in feeling better. Active participation can make all the difference to your emotional well-being. Whether you are seeking co-occurring, substance or gambling treatment, The Recovery Space compliments our Outpatient services with Peer Recovery Support and Case Management for ages 16 and up. We work with you to explore treatment pathways and offer compassionate, respectful, community-based care.
Services are provided by Caroline Towse, Peer Recovery Coach, and Alicia Ayala, Case Manager
Our Recovery Space Services include:
- Individual, couple, family and group psychotherapy
- Recovery Coaching by a Certified Peer Specialist
- Case Management Services
- Tobacco Education & Cessation
- Massachusetts certified gambling specialists
- Adolescent Community Reinforcement Treatment (A-CRA)
- Psychiatric evaluations and medication monitoring
- Counseling for those who struggle with the dual diagnosis of mental health and substance use
- RVCC partners with local physicians to offer an integrated approach to substance use treatment
- Neurofeedback Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and other modalities
- Genoa Healthcare full-service pharmacy located inside Holyoke Outpatient Clinic
- In-office and Virtual Care/Telehealth appointments offered
The Recovery Space approach includes principles from Mindfulness Informed Recovery such as Action and Commitment Therapy (ACT), SMART Recovery, Dharma Recovery in addition to the traditional tenets of AA/NA/Ala-Teen, Al-Anon & Nar-Anon.
Though our Recovery Space is in Chicopee, we provide these services to clients at all of our Outpatient Sites: Holyoke, Chicopee, Easthampton, Springfield, and Westfield with convenient evening and weekend hours available for counseling. Outreach therapy is provided as needed. Our programs are staffed with culturally adaptive professionals in order to meet everyone’s needs.
